What's transiting your chart right now

Enter your birth details and see which planets are currently making an aspect to your natal chart, with the orb and whether it is applying or separating. The same computation the app runs for its Today screen, without an account.

Birth details

Optional. Shown on this page only, never sent anywhere.

We will use noon. The transit list stays accurate; the houses each transit falls in will not.

Start typing a city, then pick it from the list.

Reading a transit list

  • Applying means building, separating means fading

An applying aspect is still tightening — most of what it signifies is ahead of you. A separating one has already peaked; you are living the tail end of it.

  • Orb is loudness, not importance

A transit within a degree is hard to miss. One at six or seven degrees is background noise most days, unless it involves a slow-moving outer planet — those are worth watching even at a wide orb.

  • This is 'right now', not a forecast

This page reads the sky at the moment you load it. For when an aspect becomes exact, or a forward timeline, that needs the app — this calculator does not scan future dates yet.

Transit questions

What counts as a transit?
A current planetary position making a major aspect — conjunction, opposition, trine, square or sextile — to a point in your natal chart, within that aspect's standard orb.
Why does the list change if I reload the page?
The Moon moves about 13° a day and the inner planets move fast too, so orbs shift by the hour. Outer-planet transits (Jupiter through Pluto) barely move day to day.
Does this show when a transit becomes exact?
Not on this page — that needs scanning forward and backward through time, which only the app does today, precomputed for your saved chart. This calculator shows the current orb and direction only.

Positions are computed with the Swiss Ephemeris. Astrology is not a science, and nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice.
